The International Research Laboratory (IRL) FCPPL (France-China Particle Physics Laboratory)
is the first ever joint lab between CAS and a foreign scientific organization!!!

19 Nov 2025: Event to celebrate the Completion of JUNO and First Physics Results. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The successful completion of the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) and the release of its first physics results were announced by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) at a press conference held in Jiangmen City on Nov. 19th.

Warm congratulations to WANG Yifang, the Chinese and French colleagues involved
and to the whole JUNO collaboration, for this spectacular achievement!!!

Fermin Cuevas, Director of the CNRS Office in Beijing gave a speech on behalf of CNRS.
